Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Animyx, you formally agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of this document, you must not use the software.
1. About Animyx
Animyx is a standalone desktop application for data-driven video storytelling, developed and owned by Minions Labs. The software operates 100% locally on your hardware. Subscriptions grant you access to the software license, technical updates, and animation “Skins”.
2. License & Intellectual Property
- License Grant: An active subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use Animyx on your own devices.
- Ownership: Minions Labs retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the software, including its source code, design, and animation “Skins”.
- Restrictions: You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code. You are prohibited from reselling or redistributing the software or its individual Skins.
- Third-Party Components: Animyx utilizes open-source libraries. Their respective licenses are available upon request and govern the use of those specific components.
3. Subscription, Billing & Pricing Changes
- Billing: Fees occur monthly starting from your first payment date.
- Price Changes: Minions Labs reserves the right to adjust subscription rates. Any price changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future billing, but no partial refunds are issued for the current period, except as provided by law.
4. Refunds & Right of Repentance (Brazil Only)
In accordance with Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (CDC), you have 7 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund for any reason. After this period, all sales are final.
5. Beta & Early Access Disclaimer
If you are using a version of Animyx designated as “Beta”, “Early Access”, or “Founding Member Release”, you acknowledge that the software is still under development. While we strive for stability, Minions Labs is not liable for software crashes, data loss, or rendering errors during this development phase.
6. Your Content & Responsibilities
- Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of any videos or animations exported using Animyx.
- Content Compliance: You agree not to use Animyx to create content that violates laws, promotes violence, or infringes on third-party intellectual property.
7. Google Sheets & Third-Party Services
Animyx connects to Google Sheets via your own Google Account. Your use of this feature is governed by Google’s Terms of Service. Minions Labs is not responsible for the availability or integrity of data stored on Google’s servers.
8. Assignment & Successors
Minions Labs reserves the right to assign or transfer any of its rights and obligations under these Terms to a third party at any time (e.g., in the event of a sale of the IP, merger, or change of control).
9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Liability
Animyx is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Minions Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the software.
10. Severability & Entire Agreement
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Minions Labs regarding Animyx, superseding all prior communications or proposals.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the **Federative Republic of Brazil**. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, SP, Brazil.
12. Changes to Terms
Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect.
